The invention relates to novel aqueous pearlescent concentrates, containing in relation to the non-aqueous portion: (a) 1 to 99.1 wt.% is fatty ether of formula (I) R<1>-(OCnH2n)x-O-(CmH2mO)y-R<2> where R<1> and R<2>, independent of one another, represent alkyl- and/or alkenyl radicals with 4 to 24 carbon atoms provided there are at least a total of 28 carbon atoms; x and y, independent of one another, must be between the numbers of 0 and 10 provided that the sum of x and y is between 1 and 10; n and m, independent of one another, must be between 2 and 4; (b) 0.1 to 90 wt.% is anionic, non-ionic, cationic, ampholytic and/or zwitterionic emulsifiers and; (c) 0 to 40 wt.% is polyoles, provided that the total sum of the amounts mentioned equal 100 %. |
