<p>Compositions and methods are useful for alleviating symptoms of diabetes in mammals. Some of the compositions include a zinc salt and cyclo-Hispro, and optionally contain arachidonic acid. Alternative compositions include a zinc salt, arachidonic acid and L-histidine. The compositions can be administered by oral route according to a daily regimen to result in decreased blood glucose concentrations.</p> |
