At least one thermoplastics intermediate paint layer is provided between the cathodic dip paint layer and the clear varnish layer. The bonding agent of the intermediate paint layer is made at least in part of thermoplastics. Independent claim proposes applying intermediate layer as dispersion or electrostatically as powder which are heated after application up to softening temperature of thermoplastics.
