<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a natural conversation while guaranteeing the continuity and sharpness of the conversation. SOLUTION: When transmitting an audio signal from an IP network 1 to terminal equipment 6 such as a general analog telephone set in an audio system network, an audio packet outputted from the IP network 1 is sent to an audio hub 40. The audio packet sent to the audio hub 40 is stored in a LAN control part 43, and audio data are extracted from the audio packet and written in a reception buffer 45. When the audio data stored in the reception buffer 45 exceed a fixed amount, a detecting signal S45 of '1' is outputted. When a silent pattern detecting part 48 detects the silent state of stored audio data in the reception buffer 45, a detecting signal S48 of '1' is outputted and the reception buffer 45 and the silent pattern detecting part 48 are reset by a reset signal S49 of '1' outputted from an AND gate 49.</p> |
