摘要 FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: rubber-metal spring is made from steel spring and flexible rubber tube whose length is agreed with total length of spring coils. Cross section of rubber tube is agreed with diameter of rod and pitch of steel spring coils. Inner profile of tube cross section has form of circle and outer profile has form of square, rectangle, circle, ellipse or circle bounded by one or two parallel chords. Lateral side of tube has longitudinal slit over entire length. Rubber tube is slipped over turns of steel spring in such manner that longitudinal slit should be located either on inner or outer side of spring coils. Rubber may fill space between coils fully or partially. Polyurethane or another flexible polymer material possessing the required properties may be used instead of rubber. EFFECT: optimal agreement of elasticity of automobile suspension with load over entire range of permissible static and dynamic loads; enhanced efficiency at impact dynamic loads and increased static loads; reduced action of impact loads on automobile body; comfort for driver and passengers. 3 cl, 1 dwg
