PURPOSE:To enable smooth flow-down of a raw material from a hopper by providing an extruder with a hopper, an inclined cylinder and a raw material- pressing cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Evacuation ports 10, 11 are attached to proper parts of a hopper 7 and a raw material flow channel including the hopper is maintained to a pressure of 1-5Torr. At the same time, heaters are placed at various parts of the channel to keep the raw material in dried state. The hopper is connected to an extruder 1 through a channel and a raw material pressing cylinder 16 having straight cylindrical form is attached to the channel at a part opened to the extruder. The raw material flowed down into an inclined cylinder 15 is forcibly pressed into the extruder with a screw shaft 17. |
