VIBRATION-ABSORBING CELLULAR MATERIAL AND WOOD-BASED SOUNDPROOFING FLOORING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wood-based soundproofing material which has excellent soundproofing properties and does not sink too much when people walk on it and has excellent feeling of walking and a vibration-absorbing cellular material used for the wood-based soundproofing flooring material. SOLUTION: A wood-based soundproofing flooring material comprises wood- based flooring materials 1 and 2 such as plywood and a vibration-absorbing cellular material 3 comprising a cellular material of a copolymer having an olefin-based elastomer comprising an ethyleneα-olefin based copolymer, preferably ethylene octene copolymer sandwiched between the two flooring materials. The ethylene octene copolymer preferably has 10 wt.% or higher content of octene monomer. Cushioning materials such as an uneven cellular material or non-woven fabric can be laminated to the back of the wood-based flooring material shown in the figure.
