PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catch prevention device for a car window which is not easily affected by the deterioration with elapsed time and the external circumstance. SOLUTION: A floating vibration body 22 is provided so as to vibrate through an elastic leg 21, along the edge of a window pane. Whether vibration is restricted by a foreign material or not, is checked by a vibration detection sensor 24, when the floating vibration body is oscillated by a vibrator 23. The vibratory frequency applied on the floating vibration body 22 is set at the outside of the frequency zone of the car engine and only the frequency zone of the vibrator is extracted by a band pass filter during detection by the sensor 24. In this way, the influence of the sound of the car engine or the like is eliminated. |
