PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake for a vehicle, which is made up of a small number of part items, light in weight, provided with little free play and assembled in a short period. SOLUTION: A first bottomed cylindrical protrusion section 1a of a first bracket 1, protruded to one direction along the same axis as that of a pivotal shaft for a parking brake pedal 3, and a second bottomed cylindrical protrusion section 3a of the parking brake pedal 3, having a diameter larger than that of the first bottomed cylindrical protrusion section 1a, protruded to one side coaxially to the pivotal shaft and provided with an inner circumference surface to fit and slide along the outer circumference surface of the first bottomed cylindrical protrusion section 1a, are provided, and are rotatively pivoted by a pin 4 which is inserted into a first hole section 1c drilled through the center at bottom of the first bottomed cylindrical protrusion section 1a, a second hole section 3d drilled through the center at bottom of the second bottomed cylindrical protrusion section 3a and a third hole section 2c of a second bracket 2. |
