The control system contains a computer, a RAM memory and a flash memory. The flash memory stores operating data of different types when the control system is switched off. The data can vary during operation of the system, are required again when the system is switched on and are stored in the RAM memory. The flash memory is managed using a ring storage method and acquires operating data of the same type repeatedly. When the system is switched on the newest operating data of one or more data types are determined and read out to the RAM memory.
