PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of correctly controlling toner density with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: Two conveying-agitating members of this developing device is provided with three rows or more of spiral blade members 11, and a part on the downstream side end section of one conveying-agitating member 8 is constituted with one row of spiral blades 10. The toner density sensor 6 is arranged corresponding to the density detecting section S. In such a manner, the stable and precise toner density can be detected by increasing the developer amount on the sensor 6 upper part. Also the density detecting S section is provided on the section for transferring the developer from the conveying- agitating member 8 to another conveying-agitating member to prevent the influence on developer conveying-agitating performance. |
