PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information inputting device with improved operability in which an inputting operation can be smoothly and quickly operated without temporarily interrupting an inputting work in fingerwriting an input character. SOLUTION: This is an information inputting device in which a touch panel 5 is provided on the screen of a liquid crystal display device 6, and a character is fingerwritten and inputted from the touch panel 5. When a user fingerwrites a character and inputs in a character inputting area E1, only a first candidate character which is the recognized result of the inputted character is displayed in a recognized result display area E2. When this displayed first candidate character is not an expected character, a simultaneously displayed correction button K3 is pressed by a user, and a second candidate character button K5 for displaying a second candidate character and a third candidate character button K6 for displaying a third character are displayed so that the next candidate character can be selected. |
