PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the operation of engine drive type auxiliary machine, even while an engine is stopped, by using the auxiliary machine which has been used conventionally. SOLUTION: Auxiliary machines 13-16 driven by an engine 2 are provided for a series hybrid vehicle. When the driving of a generator 1 by the engine 2 is unnecessary, the engine 2 is driven by the generator 1 with a fuel supply to the engine 2 being stopped. It is thus possible to use the engine driving type auxiliary machine which has been used conventionally, without modifications, and ensure the operation of their auxiliary machine even while the engine is stopped. |
