PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate designation of a symbol with a finger tip by detecting a position of a contact input on a contact sensing input device, magnifying the symbol displayed therearound and selecting the magnified symbol with contact input. SOLUTION: At first a finger tip FT to a cross part of symbols S2, S3, R2, R3 in an initial state 110. A controller that senses the presence of a contact input to the crossing part updates a contact sensing display device 20 so that the corresponding symbols are displayed with magnification to obtain a state 120. Since each original symbol having been displayed on one element is magnified and share an area of 4 elements, the display area of the symbols share a size being a multiple of 4 of the original area. Thus, the user easily reads the symbols and identifies them. Moreover, since the area shared by the magnified symbols is extended to be four resolutionable sensing elements, the center of the finger tip FT is easily placed on the symbol. |
