<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane input type pointing device which is built into a keyboard, etc., to input the cursor position information to a personal computer, etc., can improve the reliability to its operating characteristic and also can reduce its production cost. SOLUTION: This pointing device has a spacer 8 which surrounds a work area and the upper and lower sheets 7 and 6 which are made of the insulating films and opposite to each other via the spacer 8. Then one of both sheets 7 and 6 includes plural dot spacer parts 62 which are projecting toward the inside of the insulating film and a resistance film layer 63 which covers the inner surface of the sheet. Meanwhile, the other sheet 7 or 6 includes a resistance film layer 72 which covers the inner surface of the sheet.</p> |
