<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a laser beam machining device to machine a work uniformly by adjusting the quantity of energy at a machining point by emitting out the output light of the device by controlling output adjusting optical parts on the outside of a box while the output light makes round trips in the box. SOLUTION: The laser light emitted from a laser oscillator 1 is introduced to a box 4 through a mirror 3 which transmits all of the incident light, but totally reflect all incident light from the opposite direction, while an energy monitor 2 measures part of the laser light. A controller 5 adjusts the energy of the laser light when the light gets out of output adjusting optical parts 6 by controlling the parts 6 based on the measured results of the monitor 2. When the controller 5 terminates the control, the laser light is emitted from the box 4 by opening a totally reflecting mirror 7 at the outlet of the box 4. Until the laser light is emitted from the box 4, the light makes round trips between the mirrors 3 and 7. Therefore, the stability of the laser light can be improved, because the energy of the light at a machining point can be decided by controlling the already oscillated energy.</p> |
