The door frame (1) at least near the hinge-plates (3), on the wall side, has a hollow cavity sealed off by a covering angle-piece (5). The exterior of the door frame, near the cavities, has slots into which the loops of the hinge-plates which are fixed by screws, are accessible through openings on the rabbet side of the frame. The loops are bent at right angles and support nuts (4) on their part further from the hinge-plate. The screws inserted through the openings are screwed to the rabbet. |
