Cleaning method for imaged printing plate with silicone layer avoiding explosion or health hazard

In cleaning imaged printing plates with a non-printing layer based on silicone by relative motion between the plate and a cleaning fluid applicator at a definite applied pressure, the fluid contains water and a cleaning concentrate containing 1-30 wt.% anionic surfactant (I) and 1-30 wt.% non-ionic surfactant (II). Also claimed is the use of the cleaning fluid for this purpose.
