FIELD: railway transport; electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, electric trains and other ground and underground rail vehicles furnished with number of parallel-connected series-wound traction motors. SUBSTANCE: to prevent skidding points of connection of armature windings with electric motor field windings are connected to each other. Design peculiarity of proposed device, as distinct from known ones, is that connection is provided by electric circuit with conductors connected into star. Number of star arms is equal to number of parallel-connected traction motors. EFFECT: considerable reduction of service expenses for traction, provision of high speed operation. 2 cl, 1 dwg
