PURPOSE:To automatically block-divide an area by returning to a first edge point, repeating dividing processings when the new edge point is generated as the result of the division, and when the new edge point is not generated, moving a starting point to the next edge point, and repeating the same processing. CONSTITUTION:A block division control means 4 activates a block division processing means 3, and block-divides the area surrounded by a closed loop obtained by a closed loop detecting means 2. When the new edge point, a line segment, and a circular arc are prepared by the block division, edge point, line segment, and circular arc data are held, the process is returned to the first edge point concerning a block-divided analytic model, the closed loop detecting means 2 and the block division processing means 3 are activated, and the area is block-divided again. When the blocks cannot be further divided even by the sub-division, next the edge point is moved to the next edge point, the area is block-divided concerning the edge point, the same processings are executed for the all edge points, and the analytic model is block-divided. Thus the area can be automatically block-divided. |
