AUTOMOBILE WINDSHIELD PANEL POSITIONING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automobile windshield panel positioning structure that can heighten windshield panel fitting accuracy. SOLUTION: A flange side spacer 10 is inserted and fixed into a spacer insert opening 6 separating the overlap parts of a roof panel side flange 3 and a roof rail side flange 5 of a peripheral edge flange 1. Engaging parts 12, 22 of the flange side spacer 10 and a panel side spacer 20 are engagedly fitted to each other to fix a windshield panel 25. The engaged position of both spacers 10, 20 can therefore be determined without being influenced by spring- back caused by pressing of the peripheral edge flange 1, so that fitting accuracy of the windshield panel 25 can be heightend.
