VOICE AND DATA TERMINAL FOR A RADIOTELEPHONE NETWORK

The terminal includes a connection device which links a telephone handset to a digital radio telephone network. A data adaptor is coupled to a data transmission apparatus and a central communication management unit. The central unit controls telephone communications to perform adaptation of the digital data. The data adaptor controls establishment of telephone communication. A microprocessor determines the type of incoming data and directs data signals to a PC interface and speech signals to the telephone handset.
