<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the spread of a fire of a power cable without causing insulation breakage, even if it is exposed to fire by constituting at least one or more of the resinous members, which constitute a prefabrication type of connection, of a thing which has incombustibility of a specified oxygen index. SOLUTION: As a resinous member which constitute a prefabrication type of connection, for example, an epoxy unit 5, a stress cone 4, the sheath of a power cable 1, an insulator, and a semiconductor layer are included. These resinous members are given incombustibility of 25 or over in oxygen index. For example, these resinous members are constituted of resin compositions in which inorganic flame retarders such an aluminum hydroxide or the like are mixed, or are constituted of resin members 25 or over in the oxygen index of resin itself, for example, polyvinyl chloride or the like. As a result, the incombustibility of the connection at large is improved, and even if it is exposed to fire, the time until reaching to the breakage of insulation is extended, thereby improving the reliability.</p> |
