PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of contriving energy saving by a method wherein the freezing in a cold air re-circulating duct is prevented, frosting on an evaporator is reduced and an interval between defrosting operations is elongated. SOLUTION: A refrigerator is constituted of an inner casing 3, wherein a refrigerating chamber 7 is formed in an upper stage, a vegetable chamber 9 is formed in a middle stage and a freezing chamber 8 is formed in a lower stage through first and second partitioning walls 5, 6, an evaporator 10, installed on the back surface side of the freezing chamber 8, a fan 11, circulating cold air obtained through heat exchange in the evaporator 10 into respective chambers, and an evaporating pan 12, receiving drain, produced by defrosting and flowing down from the evaporator 10, through a drain pipe 13. In this case, a first refrigerating chamber cold air re-circulating duct 22 for returning cold air from the refrigerating chamber 7 into the upper part of back surface of the freezing chamber 8 is formed on the back surface of refrigerating chamber above the evaporator 10, a second refrigerating chamber cold air re-circulating duct 33, communicating the lower part of the first refrigerating chamber cold air re-circulating duct 22 with the lower part of the evaporator 10, is provided and a second drain pipe 24, branched from the lower part of the first refrigerating chamber cold air re- circulating duct 22 and communicated with the evaporating pan 12 is provided. |
