DISPLAY DEVICE, ITS DISPLAY CONTROLLING METHOD AND PORTABLE SMALL INFORMATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device capable of easily grasping displayed contents, eliminating the need for troublesome displaying operation and improving visibility by dividing a displaying area to fix-display information in the first area and to sequentially shift information to the second area. SOLUTION: A displayable area is divided into first and second areas to fixedly display important information in information on the date and time of schedule information, the name of a sending person sent by an electronic mail, e.g. in the first area and to shift attached information with much information amount to the second area every fixed time. When an electronic mail is in an electronic equipment, the display M1 displays a message indicating the presence of the electronic mail. A display M2 displays a message one second after on-operation and a display M3 displays a message two second after on- operation. Though the contents of the electronic mail is in an interrupted state, attached information is displayed sequentially on displays M4 to M6 in a state of sequentially sifting every fixed time in addition.
