PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe printing liquid, esp. an ink preferable for ink jet printers, prevented from ink blurs and infiltration and affording high-quality images. SOLUTION: This printing liquid comprises water, a colorant and resin microparticles, wherein the concentration of the resin microparticles in this liquid falls within the range (Cc -15) wt.% to Cc wt.% (Cc is the critical network- forming concentration (wt.%) of the resin microparticles). The method for printing images is as follows: when a printing is to be made on a material to be printed by delivering droplets of the above printing liquid via a head, the diameter of each of the droplets is set within the range 10 to 60 μm. |
