A connector device (10) employs a housing (20) made of an plastics insulating material, which has a groove (21) containing connection terminals (23). The terminals (27) serve to make electrical contact with connection terminals of a first circuit board (11) inserted in the groove and with a second circuit board (12). A pair of metal strips (33) one at each end of the housing at an interval corresponding to a length of the first circuit board in a direction in which the connection terminals act as latches to hold resiliently the first circuit board therebetween under an resilient biassing force acting in a direction perpendicular to that in which the connection terminals of the first circuit board are arranged. The strips (33) have holding sections (24, 36) for holding the latches relative to the housing; and fixing sections (40) for positionally fixing the first circuit board, relative to the housing in a direction of the thickness of the first circuit board. <IMAGE> |
