PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook designed to facilitate an operation of threading a rod through a loop such as of sausages suspended on the hook and also facilitate an operation of transferring the loop onto the rod. SOLUTION: This hook 31 is designed to suspended in a loop fashion a packed casing 35 of e.g. sausages mutually linked in chain form; wherein, this hook 31 bears an arm, a necked part 33 for hooking the casing 35 on, and a guide 34B set up along the casing 35 hooked on the necked part 33, the guide 34B is set up on one side with a divergence ofθrelative to the perpendicular direction, having a projection 34A extending upward, a V-shaped form is provided by the projection 24A and the arm, and there is provided a means to restrain the movement of the casing 35 disposed along the guide 34B.
