FLAME-RETARDANT THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition which can give moldings having excellent surface appearance and chemical resistance and being useful for especially a material for components of household electrical appliances and of OA machines. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 1-50 pts.wt. stabilized red phosphorus flame retardant masterbatch prepared by adding 1-60 wt.% stabilized red phosphorus flame retardant to a resin comprising 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin comprising a polycarbonate resin and a polyethylene terephthalate resin in a weight ratio of the former to the latter of 95/5 to 50/50 and a polycarbonate resin and/or polyethylene terephthalate resin and 0.01-5 pts.wt. fluoro resin and/or silicone.
