摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate-refine metal base material in a short time by using a filter therefor under solid-liquid coexisting state, controlling the temp. and the pressure and removing impurities mixed at the time of recovering as solid phase or liquid phase components at half-melting temp. of the liquidus or lower. SOLUTION: A holding cylinder (c) (raw material holding vessel) and a filter (d) set at one end thereof are utilized, and a metal base material C intended to be recycled and refined is charged into the cylinder (c), and after forming the half-melting state by heating with a heater (b), pressure with a gas from a cylinder (f) for pressurizing is supplied in the cylinder (c) and only the liquid phase metal is allowed to pass through the filter (d). As metal base materials C, for refining e.g. Al-Si base, Mg-Zn base, Al-Fe base materials and the composite material of these metals and ceramics, etc., are mentioned. As composite materials, e.g. one containing ceramic grains of alumina as an impurity in the metal base material is mentioned.</p>
