The cage has side meshes (1,2) which form a surrounding fence. An opening (20) has two door leaves (6) which are connected via door hinges (3,4) to the side meshes. The doors are each rotatable around a vertical axis (XX). The door hinges have stop recesses (21) at their outer walls, and to hold them in the selected position, each a door has hook (7). The door leaves are raisable using a control lever (8) for one handed operation. The lever is rotatable in a tube (13) in a carrier rail (10) against the bias of a spring (9).
