PURPOSE:To obtain the title compound useful as a synthetic intermediate for drugs, agricultural chemicals and natural substance under a mild condition by reacting an enolate with an oxygen-containing gas in the presence of a specific nickel compound and an aldehyde compound. CONSTITUTION:An enolate shown by formula IV (R<1> and R<2> are H, alkyl or aryl; R<3> is alkyl, alicyclic hydrocarbon group, aryl or alkoxy; R<4> to R<6> are alkyl or aryl) is reacted with an oxygen-containing gas in the presence of a compound shown by formula I or formula II (R<7>, R<9>, R<10> and R<12> are alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, etc.; R<8> and R<11> are H, halogen, alkyl, etc.) and a compound shown by formula III (R<15> is alkyl or aryl) preferably at 20-50 deg.C to give a compound shown by formula V or formula VI. The reaction is carried out in the presence of a silylating agent to improve the yield. The compound is further treated in the presence of a fluoride ion to give the compound shown by formula VI. |
