PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high speed and precise perspective drawing volume rendering-method. SOLUTION: A combinational inverse matrix is made by multiplying a light beam transformation matrix to an inverse orthographic model view matrix. A destination voxel as a homogeneous coordinate by using this combinational inverse matrix. This is encoded to a fixed decimal form, a starting neighborhood point is made, the nearest interpolation or a three dimensional linear interpolation technique is applied and the nearest source voxel in the source space is decided. A source value of this nearest source voxel is allocated to the sample point and a pixel value to be used for the following rendering is decided. Each light beam is progressed by an integer addition in a direction of Z, the interpolation technique is applied to all the sample points on the light beam, the same processing is executed and this processing is repeated with all the light beams. |
