DELAY DEVICE, FILTER ARRANGEMENT, COMB FILTER ARRANGEMENT AND NOISE SUPPRESSING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a delay time equal to odd times of the period of clock signal by providing a delay device comprising memory elements arranged in two rows with a second clock signal where one pulse is suppressed in a specified clock as compared with a first clock signal. SOLUTION: A comb filter arrangement 1 comprises two delay devices 2, 3 each having two rows 4, 5 and 6, 7, respectively. A second clock signal clock2 is generated by a clock generating circuit 9 from a first clock signal clock1 and a switching signal SW. The waveform is essentially identical to that of first clock signal clock1 except that one pulse is omitted in a specified cycle. At the time of processing a video signal, the switching signal SW is generated during a blanking period where the first image signal on each image line is not transmitted, and thereby a pulse missing the image information has no effect.
