<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device to further accurately estimate an amount of NOx absorbed by an NOx absorbent. SOLUTION: Temperature in a cylinder is calculated according to a cylinder pressure detected by a cylinder pressure sensor arranged at every cylinder by processing executed at every one crank angle. Further, based on a cylinder pressure and a cylinder temperature, an NOx generating NOxCYC generated at one cycle of the cylinder is calculated. By integrating the NOx generating amount NOxCYC, and integrating NOx amount NOIxINT is calculated (S18). When the integrating NOn amount NOxINT attains a given amount NOx NOxREF, it is decided (S19) that an NOx amount absorbed by the NOx absorbent of an exhaust gas purifying means attains a saturated state.</p> |
