<p>The invention concerns a telecommunication system antenna for communicating, in transmission and in reception, with a wide zone, of variable position relative to the antenna. Said antenna comprises motors (80, 82) for pointing the antenna towards the zone, and radiating elements (74, 76) associated with control means to modify the radiating diagram according to the relative position of the antenna and the zone. The invention is particularly applicable to an,antenna designed to be installed on a telecommunication satellite. During its travel, the antenna can remain constantly in communication with an earth zone ranging several hundreds of kilometres.</p> |
