PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a wooden bell hammer type fishhook with an eye having a reinforcing part upheaving at the back surface side of the base part in good yield and efficiency of production while reducing the cracking by hardening. SOLUTION: A reinforcing part 4 upheaving from the other part of the back surface of a flat part is formed by crushing the rear terminal of a rod-like member, which becomes a fishhook, with a mold having a groove. An eye 3 is formed by riveting the right and left of the base part of the flat part formed by the crushing. The angleθof the lower edge 30 and 30 of the eye 3 to the body 2 is 70-110 deg., preferably 80-100 deg. and more preferably 90 deg..
