PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new nucleotide sequence usable in therapy, diagnosis, etc., of inflammation, AIDS, cancer, arteriosclerosis, Alzheimer disease, etc., by comprising a nucleic acid having a high identity with a sequence coding IL-1δpolypeptide of a specific amino acid sequence. SOLUTION: The isolated nucleotide sequence contains a nucleotide sequence manifesting above 80% of the similarity to the total length of the nucleotide sequence coding the interleukin-1δ(IL-1δ) polypeptide, the sequence of the nucleotide coding the sequence of the polypeptide having the activity of the IL-1δ polypeptide, or a complementary nucleotide sequence to these nucleotide sequence.
