Indole compounds

Indole compounds represented by general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof: wherein Ar represents optionally substituted phenyl; R represents -A-W-B (wherein A represents optionally branched lower alkylene; W represents nil or oxygen; and B represents optionally substituted phenyl) or optionally branched C5-10 alkenyl; p is 1, 2 or 3; q is 1 or 2; and r is 0 or 1. Because of having a highly selective antagonism to muscarine M3 receptors, these compounds are useful as preventives or remedies for diseases in which muscarine M3 receptors participate.
