The free intermediate spaces within the ground structures, particularly between the grains of the bulk bottom material (13,16) of the superstructure, are used as availability spaces for receiving, intermediate storage and diversion of fluids. They work in collaboration with the barrier layer (18) and a fluid inlet or diversion conduit to form a fluid receiving, storage or diversion ground surface (10). Top soil or its protective covering, a lawn surface, compacted bulk material, asphalt, concrete or paving stones (12) are used as a visible upper layer. Fluid coming onto the visible upper layer of the ground surface is fed by a conducting formation of the upper layer itself to the more deeply lying superstructure.
