View finder system for reflex camera

The view finder system includes a primary mirror (3) which flaps into the beam path (2) of a lens (1). A focusing screen (4) is positioned after the primary mirror. A plane mirror (6) swivels on a pivot axle across the beam-path. A cover screen (8) is positioned after the plane mirror in the beam path and is for viewing with both eyes, alternatively to the eyepiece (7). The beam path from the focusing screen to the eyepiece is prism-free.
