<p>The display system comprises a viewing screen covering the main windscreen of the cab, which is translucent, and images projected onto at least one of the cab's side windows (12, 17). The display screens are of ground glass or glass with a translucent coating, e.g. of 'Mylar' (RTM), receiving images from projectors (2 - 5) linked to a generator. In a variant of the design the screens can have active image forming surfaces in the form of liquid crystal matrices.</p> |
