PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management server for managing resource in a cloud system having one or more servers and one or more storage sub-systems.SOLUTION: A management server assigns the category of a resource present in a first application of a first type. The category of the resource is associated with the first template of a virtual resource. The first template has a first cost for using the first template in association with a threshold value, monitors the performance of the first template in order to obtain the performance value of the first template, compares the first performance value of the first template with the first threshold value associated with the first template and, based on the result of the comparison step, forms a first resource shift plan for the first application of the first type. A second template is associated with a second threshold value greater than the first performance value. The second template has a second cost using the second template, which is lower than the first cost. |
