PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a link processing function for record data which updates the same record data in a relative document file while retrieving the record data to be updated in a data base file according to definition contents on a work sheet by enabling defining operation for retrieving and totalizing record data in the data base file on the work sheet including the definitions of a document output form. SOLUTION: A CPU 2 performs a file updating process, displays a retrieval definition screen for defining a data base record to be retrieved and updated on the work sheet at a display part 7 and sets the definition contents of the data base record to be retrieved and updated, and reads the corresponding data base file out of a file storage part 9 according to the definition contents and expands and updates an update cell to update the data base record data defined between data base files. Further, the data base file having the data base record updated is updated in specified update mode (new operation, overwriting, and updating) and the updated data base file is stored in an updated file storage part 10. |
