Door- or window-frame installation system

The system installs a frame of profiled members in an opening in a building, this being aligned with the opening and mechanically supported on the latter's edge. A tapped sleeve (18) can be used, inserted in an opening in the frame (14) so that it cannot slide or turn. A bar (22) with external thread (24) screws into the sleeve and has a mounting head (26) accessible from the inside of the frame at one end and turning on it, and one or more clamping feet (28) protruding at the other which are pressed against the edge (12) of the wall opening at the other.
