PURPOSE: To conduct a high speed control of an electronic musical instrument in which the constitution is made simple and musical sound control parameters such as a pitch control parameter are produced on the basis of plural playing information. CONSTITUTION: A fuzzy rule is constructed in that musical sound control parameter are made into a conculsion employing plural playing information and a functional section is provided in the instrument to realize the above rule. For example, if a pitch control parameter is to be obtained, playing information including after-touch, initial-touch and key-on time are led to condition section membership functions MFC 101, 102 and 103 and conclusion section membership functions MFC 108, 109 and 110 are cut by the values of the functions 101, 102 and 103. Then, these are added and synthesized (114) and a centroid is obtained (115). Thus, the playing information of after-touch, initial-touch and key-on time are organically connected and one pitch control parameter is produced. |
