<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deposit iridium on the desired part alone, to effectively use iridium component, and to shorten manufacturing time by laminatedly forming a metallic layer of platinum and a metallic layer of iridium or alloy of platinum and iridium on the surface of a cation-exchange resin film and forming the metallic layer of platinum by means of electroless plating and the metallic layer of iridium or the above alloy by means of electroplating, respectively. SOLUTION: Both surfaces of a cation-exchange resin film can have a laminated structure constituted of a metallic layer of platinum formed by electroless plating and a metallic layer of iridium or platinum-iridium alloy formed on the above metallic layer of platinum by electroplating. However, in respect of practical use, the metallic layer on the anode-side surface can be constituted of a platinum layer formed by electroless plating and a metallic layer of iridium or platinum-iridium alloy formed on the metallic layer of platinum by electroplating, and the metallic layer on the other surface can be constituted of a metallic layer of platinum formed by electroless plating.</p> |
