A flat oval tube to be used as a heat exchanging tube can be positioned through a number of holes made in fins, the holes having a cross section corresponding substantially to the cross section of the tube. After insertion of the tube this will be mechanically expanded in order to establish a good heat transfer contact between the tube and the fins, enclosing said tube. The tube is made of aluminium having an N-value of at least 70 %, N being the ratio between Rp(0.2), commonly known as the yield stress, and Rm, commonly known as the maximum tensile strengh. |
