Adaptor housing for electrical installation equipment

The adapter housing (10) can be attached to the current rails of a current rail system and accepts connector contacts which can be electrically connected to the rails. The housing can be connected to an equipment holder for attaching electrical installation equipment in different positions. The equipment holder has holding elements and the adapter housing has elements which accept the holder elements. The holding elements of the holder of the equipment are in the form of holding struts (17,18) which can be inserted into grooves in the adapter housing along which they can be continuously adjusted and in which they can be locked.
