The dismantling device has a holder (12) for the object which is set at a distance above the ground. The holder rotates about a vertical axis (15) and has two or more bearing support areas for the object. When one bearing area is aligned with the work area, another bearing area is aligned with a pick-up and delivery area (38) for an object which is to be dismantled. The holder can be a turntable with manual operation, and can comprise two bearing areas running diametrically relative to the rotary axis. Several bearing areas can be arranged evenly spread out in a circle with the rotary axis as centre point.
